Hotel Cicerone

Thinking about a pre-cruse stay in Rome for 2 days. Has anybody stayed at the Hotel Cicerone? Any information available would be great. Thanks.

That's good hotel in a great location. We stayed there a couple of years ago for a pre cruise stay. It's within easy walking distance of many of the sights in Rome. We had a couple of very good Italian dinners in the local restaraunts. We used Romalimo to get from the airport to the hotel, the hotel to the airport and back to the airport after the cruise. It might have been just as easy to get a cab back to the airport. have Fun, I wish I was going.

We stayed there more than 20 years ago on one of our trips, and my recollection is it was a solid 3 star hotel in a great location.

This looks like the hotel that RCCL uses for their pre and post cruise stays. Anybody stay there recently as part of RCCL's package?

We stayed at the Ciccerone two years ago as part of the package and were given a really nice room . No complaints about breakfast apart from the orange juice whohc was very strange indeed.

Has anybody stayed here more recently? We are currently booked there as part of our pre-cruise stay but we are still looking at other options.
