Rare dickinson Posted September 24, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2011 What should be the earliest time I should book a return flight after our cruise? We have decided to go home after the cruise instead of staying in Seattle a day. Thanks
mapleleaves Posted September 25, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2011 Depends on when you can get off the ship. You should be at the airport 1 1/2 - 2 hrs prior to departure. To be safe allow an hour to get from either pier to SeaTac. If you can be off the ship by 8am an 11am flight is easily do-able. You could hasten the trip to the airport by reserving a taxi or limo instead of doing the bus/shuttle shared ride. Maybe you can find someone on your roll call to share it with you. Rare Keith1010 Posted September 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2011 I would not book the flight until 12:00 Noon. Keith
CruiserBruce Posted September 25, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2011 I agree with Keith. Noon is a good target.
Rare dickinson Posted September 25, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted September 25, 2011 Thanks all. We booked a 1:20 pm flight so we should be ok. Now we don't have to rush off the ship
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 25, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2011 Thanks all. We booked a 1:20 pm flight so we should be ok. Now we don't have to rush off the ship Perfect. It just makes everything better not to have any stress about this during the cruise or the evening before and it makes the disembarkation process much easier.
