memoie Posted September 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2011 Leaving on the MSC Opera - does anyone know if it is possible to have a tour of the "inner workings" of the ship? Either the ships Galley, the Bridge, or the engine room. If any of these are possible what is the charge? and who would you see to get one? Thanks in advance. AmoMondo Posted September 27, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2011 I have known them to do cooking demos in the galley in the past, but since 9/11 access to the bridge is completely restricted. Not sure about the engine room but I think good old health & safety rules may make that difficult.
MSC Cruises USA Posted September 29, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2011 AmoMondo is correct. The bridge is strictly prohibited due to 9/11 and for health reasons the engine room is not permitted access either. MSC Cruises USA
