World Gallery Posted September 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2011 I am realizing that there are 2 terminals that are possible in Copenhagen and we are trying to get a hotel very close to the terminal. Does anyone know the name or address of the terminal NCL used in Copenhagen?
computerworks Posted September 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2011 We sailed from CPH last month and they used Freeport ( Frihavnen ). It would depend on when you are sailing., There is a website for the CPH port that has a lookup by ship and date. Nevertheless, consider staying in the city...it's only a short 15-20 min ride to the either cruise port from center city.

We stayed at the Clarion Mayfair, close to Central Station, Tivoli, shopping and restaurants. It also includes a very nice breakfast and a decent dinner as well as coffee etc all day. Hi Loryc, We were looking at this hotel after our trans Atlantc repo in the spring. Can you tell us a little more about the hotel, breakfasts and the evening buffet? What would the be the best way to get to the airport from this hotel? Thanks. Bill
World Gallery Posted October 1, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted October 1, 2011 Thanks for this info! I have added the NCL "Port Directions" to my favorites. This is a great page to have. We have the Hotel Bethel booked. Since we are a famiy of 7, hotel prices were very costly! This was the cheapest hotel I would find that was rated well and included breakfast. Bill We stayed at the Mayfair for 5 nights in July prior to our Norwegian Sun cruise. Room was not very big but sufficient for our needs. Only thing we missed was an in-room-safe. This was the b'fast buffet with various breads set up in the side room Don't have any shots of the supper but it was quite adequate and sure is a good way of saving some money. Best way to get to the airport from the hotel is to walk the short distance to the central station and then catch the train directly to the airport - alternatively take a taxi (a lot more expensive). Betsybill Posted October 3, 2011 #9 Share Posted October 3, 2011 Thanks for the information and great pictures boeckli, this looks like a good place to stay. We'll be there only two nights, then on to Amsterdam.
