sail7seas Posted September 29, 2011 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Yes, erewhon, that is the cruise atlas. They are hard to get a hold of but a few have found their way into a few Mariners mailboxes.

They are hard to get a hold of but a few have found their way into a few Mariners mailboxes. Thank you sail7seas. We attended a "Cruise Evening" earlier this week, I asked the speaker promoting HAL for a copy of the new Cruise Atlas, but he was unaware of it's existence. He only had the 2011- 2012 brochure. He was surprised that I was aware of the newer issue:D

Krazy Kruizers Posted September 29, 2011 Author #14 Share Posted September 29, 2011 They no longer publish the Cruise Planner. All there is now is the Cruise Atlas. About 2 months ago we received an outdated Cruise Planner from HAL. So if the Cruise Planners are no longer going to be published -- that is just one more "perk" that we won't get according to the "Star" program. califgary Posted September 30, 2011 #19 Share Posted September 30, 2011 The Cruise Planner still shows Mazatlan as a port stop for 2012. wow. the book i rec'd yesterday shows Cabo and PV only - this ought to generate alot of confusion!
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 30, 2011 Author #20 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Me thinks that some of us are getting old versions while others are getting updated versions. When we used to get the cruise planners -- the same thing happened.
sail7seas Posted September 30, 2011 #21 Share Posted September 30, 2011 If someone is just now receiving a Cruise Planner it is less recent than Cruise Atlas. Presumably the Atlas is the most current.
califgary Posted September 30, 2011 #22 Share Posted September 30, 2011 The Cruise Planner still shows Mazatlan as a port stop for 2012. Well I hope its correct since we still look forward to going to Mazatlan!
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 30, 2011 Author #23 Share Posted September 30, 2011 My Cruise Atlas has an effective date of July 2011 -- which is when they first came out. I called my TA -- hers is effective Sept 2011. So there are newer versions out.

Krazy Kruizers Posted October 1, 2011 Author #25 Share Posted October 1, 2011 I just noticed something else. The Cruise Atlas that I have has the Princendam doing a 14 day Sothern Caribbean cruise starting on Nov 15 -- and we all know that she will be going into dry dock during that time.
