take a taxi to a Publix grocery

 

buy a couple of pounds and a lemon or a jar of dipping sauce

 

and a 6 pack

 

take a taxi to a park with a table or a bench or bring a sheet to sit on.

 

yum

 

or go to a rest' with a 300% mark up . . .

Sounds like a whole lot of hassle. By the time you organize all that and pay for the taxi, you'll have spent more than at a local seafood restaurant. Then, what do you do with the hammer or crab crackers you had to buy? Don't you want them steamed? Oh, and hope you have bail money for having open containers in the park, which is illegal.

 

Ok, never mind all that garbage. This is Key West. Go to B.O.'s Fish Wagon at 801 Caroline St. They have fresh Stone Crab claws and some of the best Conch Fritters on the island. It's a very easy walk, and if you want to have a brew, it won't be illegal.
