neverenoughtime Posted October 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2011 I'm taking the Celebrity Paris on your own excursion. The bus drops us off near the Eiffel Tower and we'd like to use the city bus 69 to get to Notre Dame. Does anyone know about how long a trip it is from ET to ND on that bus? Thanks! moyaroo Posted October 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2011 It shouldn't be long. I have generally walked when I had time as the walk along the right bank is quite nice (part way go through the Tuilleries) but as you say never enough time and it is around 2 miles. Rare Hlitner Posted October 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2011 That particular bus route is kind of a legend in Paris since it does follow an interesting route. However, the time to get from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame will be somewhat dependent on the traffic at that particular time of the day. You might make it in about 30 min, or it could take an hour in heavy traffic. When we are in Paris (DWs favorite city in the world) we try to do a lot of walking. If we are in no hurry we do sometimes use buses, but if in a hurry we will usually run for the metro. The metro is not romantic and has no views, but its fast and dependable.
