Mr Luxury Posted May 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2012 Thank you for posting this list. There are a few familiar good wines on it. I would like to mix and match Chateau Palmer Batard Montrachet Krug This would keep me happy for the trip.

jam52 Posted May 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2012 How many bottles do you get in the package?
wripro Posted May 19, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 19, 2012 This list of wine packages was also posted on the Silversea board. One of the posters there said he emailed SS about it was told that there are no wine packages, only the Connaisseurs List which is probably similar to Seabourn's. I'm curious if it does indeed exist in all their ships.
Ravenscroft Posted May 20, 2012 #7 Share Posted May 20, 2012 This list of wine packages was also posted on the Silversea board. One of the posters there said he emailed SS about it was told that there are no wine packages, only the Connaisseurs List which is probably similar to Seabourn's. I'm curious if it does indeed exist in all their ships. There were wine packages available on our cruise on Silver Spirit last May. The list of wines available and the price for the package was in our suite with the room service menu. When we were on Silver Spirit in December 2011, there was no such list. We were told that was because it was the Holiday cruise and we could make a package of our own using the wines offered on the Connoiseur's List. We met with the Head Sommelier and made up three such packages over the course of our 21 day cruise. He gave us a good discount each time and also would throw in a complimentary bottle. So it's interesting to read that someone has emailed SS recently and been told there are no wine packages. Perhaps they've found that allowing the guests to put together their own package is more advantageous than having a set selection of wines. As for the Seabourn packages listed here, we'd be interested in the Sommelier's Package (anything with a Batard Montrachet gets my vote!), although I'm not familiar with 'Insignia'. And I'd prefer to swap out the Dom Pérignon Rosé for the Bollinger Grande Annéé or the Krug....
