I sailed 9/15 and it was Charlene and Wesley. Both very good.

My understanding is that the bar staff rotate from bar to bar every few weeks. You never know where you will find your favorite server or bartender.

He wasn't there in May. He's one of our favorites too. I'm hoping we see him when we're back on Explorer in March!

I'm assuming you mean Concierge Lounge as the Explorer does not have a dedicated Diamond Lounge.

I sailed the Explorer in February 2011 and they do have a Diamond Lounge. It was in the Ninth Hole, located on deck 14 off Dizzie's. I only went there once with friends, that don't have access to the Concierge Lounge, as I have as a Diamond + member. I'm sailing the Explorer again over New Year's, and a friend of mine is also on the cruise. She's only Diamond, and we'll be going together nightly to the Ninth Hole, to the Diamond Lounge. I only drink wine or champagne, so it doesn't matter where I have it.

That is still the Diamond "event", not lounge. You state you only drink wine or champagne, and that is all that is free at the Diamond "event". In a true Diamond Lounge, (only on Freedom class, Oasis class and Radiance) all service including the free drinks and hors d' oeuvres are exactly the same as those in the Concierge Lounge.

I now realize the difference, as I have sailed on the Liberty and they DO have a true Diamond lounge.
