alpenglow Posted October 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2011 Hubby and I are avid poker players and saw the poker tourneys listed in the Patter. He thinks it's just an electronic table, basically a SNG; I'm hoping for a MTT with live dealers. Do any previous cruisers know which of us is right? (No, we don't have a bet riding on this ;))

LaCal Posted October 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2011 They have the Electronic Poker Pro Tables which some people like some people hate.... I've always Loved Live Tables with Real Dealers/Chips but have found the PokerPro Table easy to learn and fun.... Most Tournaments are $60 Buy In with a Payout of $350 for 1st Place and $150.00 for 2nd..... Or you can do what I've done Twice in the past and if both players agree Split the $500.... Have Fun and Win Win Win!!:D
alpenglow Posted October 27, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted October 27, 2011 Thanks for the info - much appreciated! Is there more than one table in the tournament?
MHMarkL Posted November 7, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 7, 2011 Thanks for the info - much appreciated! Is there more than one table in the tournament? They only have one table on the Princess ships I have been on. I once played a 3 table tourney on board the Golden, the way it worked was that the top three of each one table tourney played at the final table. The winner won $3000 and a free cruise for two. scott4020 Posted November 7, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 7, 2011 The Poker Pro software can do about any kind of tournament and many kinds of games. It's up to the casino host to choose. Talk to them if you find enough players interested in something other than the standard SNG.
