Casino rules different than Vegas

the International Council of Cruise Lines says this about Rules;

RULES OF PLAY

Each line will provide a gaming guide setting forth the rules of play for their casino. These rules of play shall generally follow those

established for casinos in Nevada, New Jersey, or England. These house rules will also be made available in every casino. Each member

line will post at every gaming table minimum and maximum betting limits for each game. Only adults are allowed to play the slots or table.

The way I read this, it is up to the line to establish the rules ..GENERALLY FOLLOW SOME OTHER ESTABLISHED CASINOS....It also states that the line must inform the passengers what those rules are!.....so, be alert....

To add to my post, I had heard that the rules were different on board than Vegas like no pushes at the 21 table.. different rules about field bets at the dice table..things like that!

There are a few different blackjack tables on board. The normal blackjack is the same as Vegas. I just do not remember if they hit on Soft 17 or not. They have the carnival game Face-Up Blackjack but I never play it so I don't know the rules. For craps I have no clue as I don't play that either.

Those sound more like the different rules I used to run into at some of the Native American reservation casinos years ago. Those have more or less come into line with Vegas over the years but in the beginning there were some strange differences. I play both 21 and craps and the rules are the same as Vegas with the understanding that there are slight variations even in Vegas. Might add I don't play the field bets on the craps table so if the odds or payouts are different I'm no aware of them or impacted by them.
