Hi all,

I have researched and researched but would like additional help. I know there are pros and cons to the deck one stays on but I would like to hear some stuff that I may not have read on the internet. So HELP... I am going to cruise on the Carnival Freedom and need help selectin a balcony room on the Lido, Promenade, or Spa Deck. Last July my fiance and I were supposed to take this exact same cruise for our honeymoon but we postponded the wedding and will be doing it in May. We had to cancel due to everything. We lost all the money for the cruise and flight. We had been reserved on Lido Balcony.

Well I hope things go smoother for you this time. Personally we like the Empress Deck as it's in between two Cabin Decks and it's very quiet. Whatever you choose, have a wonderful cruise!!

I like the empress deck as well, its quiet, and where the majority of the suites are so the stewards are all top notch. I always choose a room mid ship. For our Magic cruise in April we got one just a few rooms down from the Atrium opening, Im so excited about this room!

I totally agree about the Stewards, we are also on Empress again on the Legend in May. No Aft this time just a regular balcony but not obstructed...have fun I know we will!!

We were on the Panarama deck (10) on the victory and loved it because you would walk right out and down to the lido. We are on the Lido coming up and are very excited. My BF would prefer to be closer to the casino, shops etc but he lets me book so...

I know you are asking about the decks at the top of the ship, however, we love the Empress the best too. It is sandwiched between two decks of cabins, very quiet! Also we stay mid-ship (from front to back) and Empress is pretty much mid-ship (but going up and down too). It is a perfect great location. Can walk to just about everywhere on the ship without the need to take elevators. Just my 2 cents! Just enjoy no matter where you end up picking.

Very true, it takes no time at all to get anywhere, no matter where you are!
