marwood Posted November 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2011 We want to try Sabatini's but it will be just the two of us. Is it better with a bigger table?
katisdale Posted November 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2011 I've only done Sabitini's as a couple. It was just fine.
argenta01 Posted November 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2011 We want to try Sabatini's but it will be just the two of us. Is it better with a bigger table? Everyone dining at Sabatini's dines with their own party be it 2 or 20. There is no sharing of tables if that is what you are referring to. Maybe you will meet some folks on the cruise who would be interested in dining there with you if you feel you need a bigger group. Food and service will be the same no matter what the table size. :)
Shogun Posted November 4, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 4, 2011 Hi There Sabatinis is perfect for just a couple , you will find mostly couples or small groups, only some times do you see a larger family group. yours Shogun
Cruiserkenn Posted November 5, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2011 We want to try Sabatini's but it will be just the two of us. Is it better with a bigger table? Dinner at Sabatini's is wonderful, regardless of the table size. I have had dinner at Sabatini's five times, on three different ships, and it is always superb. I have always had a table for two:) Bon appetit!
2little time Posted November 5, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2011 We want to try Sabatini's but it will be just the two of us. Is it better with a bigger table? No, on the contrary, I think the tables for two are very romantic. It seems though that the larger tables are by the windows.
Betabray Posted November 6, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 6, 2011 We're cruising with some extended family (gramma, grampa, etc...) and my twins will have their 9th birthday onboard. Are kids allowed in Sabatini's for a family birthday dinner? The food is no problem, just not sure if there is an age restriction (or if we'd have to eat earlier if with kids). FawnRiver Posted November 6, 2011 #9 Share Posted November 6, 2011 We've dined at Sabatini's on our last two cruises (and will again on the next) and both times we had a table of two by the window overlooking the fountain. Its very nice - my little clutch purse ends up sitting on the windowsill .
Whimsy Posted November 6, 2011 #10 Share Posted November 6, 2011 Does anyone know the Max size table they can accomodate? We have a large group and I know we have at least 11 to go to Sabatini's one night, maybe up to 19 of they all want to go.

We have a large group and I know we have at least 11 to go to Sabatini's one night, maybe up to 19 of they all want to go. The largest table I have seen is a round one for eight but I am sure they will try hard to accomodate a larger group. That being said, 19 is a very large group. Perhaps you could do 2 tables of eight?
Betabray Posted November 7, 2011 #12 Share Posted November 7, 2011 Well behaved children are always welcome there. Thanks - happily, my kids know how to behave in a restaurant. We might leave the cousins at kids' club though. :)

With that many people, you cannot talk with everyone anyway no matter how large the table. Better to have the group at two or three smaller tables. Putterdude Posted November 7, 2011 #14 Share Posted November 7, 2011 We have done Sabitini's as a couple and as a party of 12 and almost everything in between...I sometimes think that the larger the party the more fun it is.
Stevesan Posted November 7, 2011 #15 Share Posted November 7, 2011 The Princess web site has a series of photos for Sabatini's. There appear to be a number of 4 tops that would accomodate two diners without feeling uncomfortable: http://www.princess.com/learn/onboard/food_dining/specialty_restaurants/sabatinis/index.html
