Hey Naked Balcony Guy!

Well of course you could turn away but it is impossible to miss when you spend as much time as we do on our balcony. And, no, didn't need a free peep show. I have my own husband for that. Dont need another husband. LOL

Thanks for LOL I am glad that you took this in the fun way I meant it to be. I just have trouble sometimes trying to make my statements sound like jokes.

We always cruise in a balcony cabin and I've never even thought about looking at my neighbors through the reflections on the glass.

I know you say you couldn't help it, but those chairs turn ,you could face it away from the show.

Balconies are for people that want privacy from the main deck, leave those people alone if they aren't hurting you!!!

Sorry JMO but isn't there a lot of people out here trying to control every move others make?

The beach and pool are full of half naked (and depending on the beach full naked people) Look away if it bothers you.

Carole

My thoughts exactly. Some people want to control everything.

Wouldn't that be YOUR balcony glass that his body was reflecting onto? If so, either move your chair or throw a towel over YOUR railing.

I think too many people make too much of a big deal about nudity. It's certainly a lot more natural than having to dress up for dinner while on vacation. :D

One word describes this thread:

Really!!!

I know right? Thankfully, I have never neighbored near any nude balcony cruisers. But you would think they'd be a little more careful...not everyone wants to see their "junk".

There could be several reasons why some one would do this.

He might not be aware of the reflection and think he is total hidden from others.

Or, he is aware of the reflection and is an exhibitionist.

Either way, I would give him a subtle hint about the reflection, and see if he stops. If he doesn't he's either the exhibitionist, or he just doesn't care (after all, he's on vacation. What are the chances he'll bump into you next week at church?).

He might bump into you at dinner. Our neighbors were our tablemates at dinner.

What are the chances of that?

well... my opinion is... I like my balcony.... what I do and how I do it...well...that is up to me... I like my privacy... I like being nude on the balcony... there is something about being out in that ocean air letting it all hang out... that is excilarating.... also... it is better when there are two of you... its like this... enjoy your balcony... you will never see these people again for the rest of your lives... after the cruise is over... :)

Well I am glad this was posted. Not because I care what my neighbors do, but I am mortified that my neighbors may have seen me walking around my balcony cabin getting dressed, unaware that I was on display. I will be sure to close my curtains while getting dressed in my cabin from now on.:eek::eek:

That might be true, but YouTube lives forever :-)

Totally agree, nothing wrong with a little nudity or a lot of nudity for that matter!

Am sure with all their cameras/view from the ships bridge:eek:, there would be no need to call the purser, they are already aware of him, lol:p;)

Only coves have cameras, LOL

{Someone had posted pictures of the camera in their review.}

Unless the balconies are the first few after the bridge rare chance of being seen

If CC had a like button I'd use it on this one!!!

OMG, I cruised beside this guy too.

Our last cruise was the Mexican Riviera port side balcony. We got the morning sun and lots of reflection. I was sitting reading my book and every time I looked up at the scenery, I was staring eye level at the crotch of the man next door. He was sitting in his chair, legs spread out. I too was pretty shocked- and there was no missing it. It filled the view, so it was difficult to look through that reflection. Tried not to look... but it wasn't going to scare me away from my hard-earned balcony chair.

But it is that kinda creepy thing where you just gotta look - you know like a car accident.;)

Ok, now I understand, I guess after seeing someone, your eyes go to those area by nature.

Maybe the guy in the OP was just showing off his "no tan lines, tan"

Or maybe he was working on his tan, and wanted to get all sides, even the bottom?

In addition if you are on your balcony and your neighbor is on their's and they are back lit by the sun, you can see the silhouette of your neighbor through the dividers as well. Obviously, you can see everything going on over there in silhouette. It's actually a pretty neat effect :)

All I can say is that you guys totally crack me up! This is the funniest thread I've read in a long time. lol. I've wondered what I am missing out on by not getting balcony rooms. I guess now I know. i think I'll stick to my inside thank you very much. If i want to look at something like that, I know where I can get it!

One morning, my balcony neighbors chose to discuss their previous night's "romp in the hay"...in great detail. From their description, our beds couldn't have shared a common wall. ;) Their only regret was not turning on the video camera to capture the entire evening of torrid rapture.

The visuals they gave with the "blow-by-blow" :) reenactment, were more graphic than seeing a naked man or moman sunning themselves or simply "hanging out" on their balcony.

I have to admit it was a very amusing tale to listen to while enjoying breakfast. I closed my murder mystery book and opted to listen to them enact an XXX book on tape scenario.

Sometimes people think they are in a private space when on their balconies and don't think someone might be in eye or ear shot.

I'm very confused as to how someone in the next balcony room gets the reflection of someone in the next room on their glass. Was this man inside his cabin or on his balcony? Where were you able to see his reflection? Very confused and just want to make sure that I don't make the same mistakes. LOL
