jdlg4silb Posted November 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2011 We are a family of 4 (all adults) who will be in San Juan from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. We enjoy seeing islands from the perspective of residents, and am wondering if anyone has previously hired a driver to show them as much as possible during those hours? If so, what did you pay, where did you find the driver, and how was the experience? Thanks!
Host Faith Posted November 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Welcome to CC! I see you're in Marlboro, I live in the Princeton area. Small world! :) As a group of 6 last year, we hired Victor Balbin of San Juan Happy Tours, for an Old and New San Juan tour. We had the whole van to ourselves that day. I believe it was $25 pp at the time. I have photos and a full description of our day in my Serenade review from 2010 (in my signature). If there are specific things you want to see, he can customize your tour. Well worth the price, and Victor was an excellent guide.
