mountainmare Posted December 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Had a notice last week (or so) that my e-docs were ready. Somehow I just didn't get around to printing them for our Jan 13 cruise. Saturday there was a package in the mail from our TA--a small local agency--and there were the docs, all neatly printed out (all the pages) and put together in a nice envelope. It was almost as exciting as the pretty blue folder and such a surprise. A good TA is worth her weight in gold!!!
cruzboss Posted December 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2011 I agree, it is always nice to have that personal touch...Book with your local TA! They always add little extra like OBC or in stateroom gifts.
Krazy Kruizers Posted December 5, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Our TA always calls us and checks to make certain that we were able to print out what we need for a cruise. She does this for everyone -- just in case someone has a computer and/or printer that dies at the wrong time.
NJ Fred Posted December 5, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2011 I most always book with a TA I have come to trust. An agency that is cognizant of my likes/dislikes and doesn't try the bait-and-switch gimmick. HAL is part of a large conglomerate. They have a solid financial foundation. The way I see it, doing business with a competent TA keeps small business alive and human beings employed. In today's delicate economy, we should keep that in mind. andeesue Posted December 5, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Glad I waited, too. My TA sent the docs. in a nifty blue, zippered pouch that will be great for many other uses. She even included luggage tags, run on sturdy paper (vellum). She went to bat for us when prices fell a wee bit after final payment. Got upgraded. And she provides a nice OBC. Enjoy your cruise!
