Nanner Posted December 13, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2011 We are going to Greenland on HAL in July/Aug. 2012. Our two stops there are Nanortalik on Friday, July 20, and Qaqortoq on Sunday, Aug. 12. I have been reading up on Greenland, and found some places to visit in both towns, but... The museum in Nanortalik is usually only open Sunday-Thursday. I also fear the tannery and town tours in Qaqortoq will not operate on a Sunday. The museum here is supposedly open 1-4 PM, which doesn't help if we leave at the time they open. Anyone know if the towns open the public buildings when a ship is in port on a normally "Closed" day? I've emailed the tourism offices, but thought I'd ask here as well. Has anyone done any tours organized through the local tourism offices in either town?
