cheffip Posted January 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I'm on Grandeur in October. This will be my first RCCL cruise but I became an "instant" Platinum member because of my Celebrity sailings. I had a quick look at the benefits on the RC website but I wondered what seasoned Royal cruisers found most useful. eg Is there anything in the coupon book to look forward to? teddie Posted January 7, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2012 The benefits we liked most are the balcony discount, priority boarding, bathrobes, and special upper tier event. For us, the event was an extra ice show with wine or champagne served. The coupons that most interested us were the Internet discount, free slot pulls (nothing came of that), and some JR 2 for one shakes. There were some discounts for photos, specialty coffee, and 10% off bar drinks. I am sure that some Platinums that are more experienced, or with a better memory can fill in some of the blanks. will773 Posted January 7, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I think the balcony discount is the best perk.
