Kissara22 Posted April 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2005 I'm cruising on the Tahitian Princess in November, and I was curious to know if anyone knows the name of the deck I'm on, ...I'm in room #7023, deck 7. Now i've heard of dolphin deck, caribe deck, baja deck etc etc. Are they the same on each Princess ship? Name according to deck that is?

Druke I Posted April 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2005 When Princess lease/purchase optioned the Tahitian Princess and Pacfic Princess, they left the cabin numbering in place, and did not add deck names to the ships. I believe they are the only two ships in the current Princess fleet without deck names. They are also the ones without fridges in all cabins, although we were told that they might be added at some future unspecified date.
Kissara22 Posted April 14, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted April 14, 2005 Interesting, ..I recall when I sailed on the Grand ..we were on the Dolphin Deck, ...and I've been curious ever since I booked this next cruise as to the name. Thanks y'all for clearing that up. Deck 7 works just fine for me :)

Thanks y'all for clearing that up. Deck 7 works just fine for me :) Heck, any deck with ME on it is a good one no matter what the name is but... "Caribe" certainly sounds more exotic than "deck 7"... gopher's girl Posted April 14, 2005 #7 Share Posted April 14, 2005 Could you imagine if hotels started doing this? If you were at a Hilton on the 5th floor it might be the Paris and if you were at an Omni on the 5th floor it might be the Potent.
