Things I need to know ...

We were docked in Cozumel on Thurs Apr 7 on the NCL Sun. Next to us was the Carnival Sensation. Everyone was on board the Sensation and they appeared ready to leave. It sat waiting and waiting and waiting. Suddenly a police cruise pulls up and a guy gets out of the back seat and goes up the gangway. OK people on the Sensation - what's the scoop? What happened? And why did the ship wait around for him?

I don't know about this particular situation.....but something similar happened in Cozumel when we were on Ecstacy.

We were supposed to leave at 11pm. 11pm came and went, everyone standing on the decks waiting to leave. After awhile, here comes a police car and a couple of people got out and jumped on board!

In the Capers, there is always a phone number to call in case of emergency while in port. Maybe they realized they would be late coming back to the ship for whatever reason, called the ship, and the ship waited. That's the only conclusion we could come up with on our cruise. Never did find out for sure though.
