First time on Millenium

Girl from Ipanema

Recommended Posts

Hi, my wife and I will sail on the Millenium 5 days cruise March 19/24, we have cruised before but this is our first trip on this ship. Any advice, suggestions etc would be more than welcome. We are seniors and love good food.

Thank you, P&P

We have been aboard her 3 times. Service is top notch and we are welcomed back by crew who remember us. There is a friends of Dorothy at 7:45 at the Martini Bar. The first two times there were no friends there. Last time there were a lot. Still worth checking out. If it is in your budget splurge for at least one meal in the Olympic. An intimate setting and lots of personal attention. There will be deals from 3 meals for $99 to 5 for $139 per person. Add wine to the 5 banger and it is $200 each. Sunday brunch is a large buffet spread in the Metropolitan dining room with more food than you can possibly eat. The buffet upstairs has sushi for a couple hours around 5:30. We have also seen curry/rendang there as well.

You will enjoy this fine ship. We look forward to a couple more times on her before she goes to drydock then to the Pacific.
