AHUEY2 Posted January 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Does anyone know the cheapest way to get from Orlando International to Port Canaveral to catch our cruise ship, Royal Caribbean? I initally was going to purchase a transfer but the agent advised that there was no way to assure us that we would make it to the ship on time or back to the airport after our cruise. We are arriving @ 12:30, ship leaves at 4:30 and we fly out at 12:15 and the ship docks at 7am.
Rare Essiesmom Posted January 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Rental Car. For the latest, go to the North American Homeports board, then Florida Departures. Many, many threads on this. Welcome to Cruise Critic. EM
rumpelstiltskin Posted January 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2012 I agree with the rental car suggestion. In the recent past, I haven't had to pay a drop fee in the state of Florida. Also, check to see if the car rental drop off has a shuttle from there to the cruiseport.
AHUEY2 Posted January 25, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Thanks, we were hoping to get a shuttle and let them do the driving for a reasonable rate. Since Orlando international is such an active airport I was hoping that there would be alot of shuttles available to choose from. Most times they are just seating their waiting for flights to come in and they attempt to get passengers.
