CruiserJess Posted February 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2012 Just wanted to share this site if anyone hasn't used it yet. IT IS AMAZING! I have bought everything from my invites & bridesmaids gifts to my garter on this website! It is a marketplace for people to sell things they make and the pricing is great! I don't think I would have been able to do all the things we are without saving so much money with them. My favorite purchase, KOOZIES! Great idea for a cruise wedding i think :D Thought I'd share for all the newbie wedding planners out there!

garbasaurus Posted February 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2012 Etsy is fantastic! Does anyone have any favorite sellers to share? It's almost too much to weed through so recommendations are helpful!
acireta Posted February 8, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2012 I got my jewelry from this shop, and the seller is so sweet and easy to work with: http://www.etsy.com/shop/ElegantChicJewel I bought personalized hankies from this girl and even though she's in Poland, there was no language barrier and everything was perfect: http://www.etsy.com/shop/gosiadesigns Bought a photo charm for my bouquet here, so many options: http://www.etsy.com/shop/YourCharmedWedding I got my "will you be my bridesmaids" cards from this girl, and she's awesome! http://www.etsy.com/shop/SDezigns I bought jewelry for the moms here, and she is one of the fastest, most responsive sellers with whom I have ever worked: http://www.etsy.com/shop/dazzledesigns
bridetobe52012 Posted February 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2012 I bought my garter and love it! It's very vintage looking (and my something blue). I also shared it with my hostess of my bridal shower and she told me she has bought decorations from there too! I look at it almost every day to see if I come across something I forgot. Artemis908 Posted February 9, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2012 I found the gal who did my flowers on etsy and also hair pins that matched my flowers. Definitely love etsy!
jebuell Posted February 9, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Not sure if this is allowed here, but I actually have two Etsy giveaways on my blog (both for bouquets, one paper flower and one button). http://www.ecofriendlyandfrugal.com I have a whole wedding blog thing going on and have a TON of Etsy shops listed in the various posts. kgymn Posted February 10, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 10, 2012 I'm actually a much bigger fan of Zibbet: http://www.zibbet.com/ Similar to Etsy, but they treat sellers better and charge them less. Thinking of getting some fabulous chainmaille jewelry for my wedding. http://www.zibbet.com/XquisitelyLadyM ~Katy
Host Caroline Posted February 10, 2012 #9 Share Posted February 10, 2012 I love Etsy as well! Just a friendly reminder that you can't "sell" your Etsy stuff on here, even if it is wedding related. So if you have a wedding/personal blog that discusses Etsy, what you found etc. .. that is ok.. but you can't link to things you are selling on Etsy on that blog or solicit your Etsy merchandise here.. hope that clarifies. I entered the contest after I saw the "Mustache Love" - I Heart Mustache Flask. It screams my son's name!!! There were a few others that cracked me up. Not your typical flask and I have to figure out which ones for my brothers and Jay's brother-in-laws and father. Bookmarked your site and will delve in deeper when I finish my other tasks.
