Hawaii dec.19th

Aloha Kakou,

No, Princess does not offer an itinerary like this. The reason NCL can do this is because their "Hawai'i ship" is registered in the US, and our ships are not. Therefore the PSA, (Passenger Services Act) does not apply to them.

Aloha,

Dave Soreff

Princess does not do any straight Hawaii cruises. They only do ones that start and/or end somewhere else. They are either roundtrip from the US west coast, or one way from places like Tahiti. Only the one NCL ship meets the legal requirements to do Hawaiian cruises.

We did the Hawaiian RT twice for the holidays -- in 2005 and then in 2010. We have also done land trips in Hawaii, once for our honeymoon. I'm not fond of flying at all, so the Princess cruise is a great vacation for us with the bonus of the time in Hawaii. I think if it was a matter of spending more time in Hawaii, we would stay in a hotel and fly to whatever islands we want to see.
