IrishLassie Posted February 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Was just wondering if cruiser's get dressed up on the formal night if it's just a 4 niter? (meaning cocktail dress's, long gowns, etc.) I hope so as I love to get dressed up! :)
firefly333 Posted February 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Same as other cruises to me. I have not noticed a difference. No formal night, but there is a elegant night the first full day.
Martini Mom Posted February 13, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I have noticed a difference in the dress. I have noticed (on my cruises) that the longer the cruise, the more dressed up the passengers.
Colorado Kat Posted February 13, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Yes, most will still dress up. More cocktail length dresses than formal dresses.
QLUVS2CRUZ Posted February 13, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I don't know that I've noticed a difference, but I will say that I choose not to dress up for Elegant Night on the shorter cruises like I do on the longer cruises...mainly because I am trying to get away with just bringing a small bag, and the elegant attire doesn't fit well...but I know you will see people dressing up too. travelcat18 Posted February 13, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I'm wearing a gown and DH is wearing a tux for our "elegant night" on our 4-day in April.
ccruisequeen Posted February 13, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I usually take black jersey slacks & a beaded top for a 4-day. They are easy to pack & don't take much room in a small suitcase.
Colorado Kat Posted February 13, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I'm wearing a gown and DH is wearing a tux for our "elegant night" on our 4-day in April. I do love to people watch, and adore seeing the people really dressed up! Tuxes look so good!
