Ecstasy GS or Aft Ext. Balcony

Would you take the Ecstasy Grand Suite(U115) or an Aft. Ext Balcony.(U239). Have the Aft right now but can upgrade to GS for same price.

We've done both, love the extra room of the GS, but I love the view from the aft better. Also the aft cabins have easy access to the Serenity, Pizzaria, Lido Buffet, etc. You just hop on the closest elevator and go up ;) There is more motion and noise in the aft cabin, so if those things bother you, you may take that into consideration as well.

 

If you're traveling with a group, the GS is nice as you'll have a place for everyone to meet up, have cocktails, things like that. And if you're not Platinum, you get VIP boarding with the GS (I think this is still the case anyways).

Our favorite location is the aft balcony right below the serenity area. There are a set of stairs that exit right at the aft hallway. Very convenient.

For the same price? Take the GS. No-brainer. A much bigger cabin and VIP embarkation trump the larger balcony, IMHO.
