Booked two cruise in Oct 12, A 4 night Norwegian and a 7 night carnival.

Part of our trip requires:

Atlanta to Miami

Miami to Orlando

Orlando to Tampa.

These are all on different days with days in between including cruises. Can anyone suggest the best way to get between these places?

PS; There are 3 of us travelling.

Thanks.

Atalnta to Miami you can choose to fly in to either MIA (Miami) or FLL (Fort Lauderdale - about a 40 minute drive away).

Be sure to schedule your flights to arrive at least one day early - you do not want weather delays or flight cancellations to cause you to miss your cruise.

If you find a better deal on flights to FLL then I would spend the night there (read the FLA departure board for suggestions) and use

SAS (www.ridesas.com), QLS transportation (www.qualitylimoservice.com ), Go Airport Shuttle (http://goairportshuttle.com/) and others to shuttle to POM for about $15 per person. The ride takes about 40 minutes or so.

If you fly into MIA a cab to any of the downtown hotels near POM cost about $25+ and another $10-12 cab will get you to POM the next day.

As mentioned above, the easiest way from Miami to Orlando and on to Tampa is to rent a car - it is an easy 3.5-4 hour drive to Orlando and another 90 or so minutes from Orlando to Tampa, and you will likely need the car while visiting Orlando sights/attractions.

Good luck! :)

Noticed you are from Aussie. Most of my friends from Aussie, they don't want to rent a car, because they feels weird driving on the wrong side of the road.

We don't have the best public transporation like Europe or Asia.

So I am bumping this up, hopefully someone can help you more, since I am not familiar with Florida either.

Thanks for the suggestions - don't really want to rent a car so looking at planes and/or buses.

Will go look at those suggestions now :-)

Dear lord NOT the bus.

You'll have to fly between ATL and MIA. It's a twelve hour drive so a bus would take you about 20 hours.

The easiest way to get from MIA to Orlando is to drive. It's actually faster than flying if you add in getting to the airport early, etc. It's about a three hour drive.

From Orlando to Tampa you are going to have to drive or hire a car and driver. It's an hour trip.
