Hanjin San Diego

Hanjin San Diego - Has anyone taken sailed as a passenger (or otherwise) on this ship? Thoughts?

 

I'd be a solo female on board so any comments on safety are appreciated as well.

Gald to hear you are interested in booking a voyage on a freighter. Hanjin San Diego is a contaier ship, so it won't spend a lot of time in port, and I think it is in Trans-Atlantic service. It will have comfortable cabins. I don't think that being a single female should be of any consequence. Most seamen are pretty shy around single female passengers, and will not bother you unless invited. It would be good if you go you post a trip report here after your voyaage. I'd like to hear how it goes. Bon Voyage!

Thank you captainmcd! I haven't decided on it yet, but I thought it might be interesting since I'm hoping to holiday with friends in Sardinia this summer. Once back on the mainland I could then take the train to Genoa and sail back to New York.

 

If I go, I'll definitely post a full review with pictures. :)

I've yet to hear back from the booking company. :rolleyes: I guess that means no spots available?
