smeyer418 Posted May 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2004 sometime today or tommorrow, the number of cc members will be 100,000. I know of no other board that has so many members. I have been on other travel related boards and this is by far the easiest to navigate and the most informative. Yes it sometimes gets heated, but as in all families we make up and go on. Way to go cruise critic keep up the great work!!! zimmerjulie Posted May 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2004 Bravo Cruise Critic! I, too, have visited many cruise sites and have found CC to be head and shoulders above the rest in terms of ease of use. I have really enjoyed this great resource. THANK YOU!! Hobbsey Posted May 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2004 I started here when this service was part of AOL. For a short time I left to be more involved (chat host) on another service. That's the kind with the cash register-like ribbon that goes back and forth. Only problem was that it would overheat if we printed a lot of stuff. I remember when we were going on the Triumph back in '99. I remember looking at all the virtual tours (not sure what site) the night before we boarded! I think it was the Triumph. Tobintemp Posted June 30, 2004 #13 Share Posted June 30, 2004 I know there may have been some people that reregistered (me included) because their username from the old boards was not working. That could explain the bump in numbers.
Rare Host CMLA Posted July 1, 2004 #14 Share Posted July 1, 2004 I know there may have been some people that reregistered (me included) because their username from the old boards was not working. That could explain the bump in numbers. We hit 100,000 in May long before the transfer to the new board. But I imagine the numbers might be up this month because of people reregistering. sbcs5390 Posted July 1, 2004 #15 Share Posted July 1, 2004 Does this one show us a member count? If we can't see it, surely the administration can. What are we at now? -Brian
