Rare bsbcgirl Posted February 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2012 Have to choose between JS 9572 (mid) or JS 7692 (extreme aft). Help me decide. Thanks.
jazzydoors Posted February 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2012 Go for the aft.
Rare bsbcgirl Posted February 21, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted February 21, 2012 Jazzydoors, Any particular reason why you said aft?
lj1231 Posted February 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2012 I'm in 9570 for my May cruise. I just wanted something more mid-ship.
Tim,n,Sue Posted February 21, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2012 http://www.voyager-class.com/ Look at this website before choosing. The true afts on deck 7 may not have the view you want.
DonnaK Posted February 21, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 21, 2012 I am not a fan of aft cabins on Voyager-class ships. Although the balcony is very large, the view is somewhat obstructed by the structure of the ship. It also can be unbearably hot back there because there is no crossbreeze to temper the heat. I like having a midship location because it's convenient to everything, and easier to get around the ship.
phill635 Posted February 21, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 21, 2012 I had 7394 aft. on explorer and the balcony is very big however you can't look right down at the water. The aft. is well covered above if it rains and we didn't think is was hot at all.The other benefit was you could see back ,left and right not like mid where you only see whats on that side. Puffinater Posted February 21, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 21, 2012 While we rather the afts, on the Voyager Class ships we would forgo the aft JS on 6&7. If you can grab one on deck ten jump all over it.

cb at sea Posted February 22, 2012 #10 Share Posted February 22, 2012 We love being near the stairs and elevators...on deck 10, if possible. We spend most of our days at the pool....that location makes life sooooooo much easier! Yes....in an aft cabin, you will have a larger balcony, but for 2 of us, a standard JS balcony is more than ample, and midships is so very convenient! That walk to the aft, multiple times a day, is a royal pain in the arse!
kruzerci Posted February 22, 2012 #11 Share Posted February 22, 2012 I'd do Deck 9. I don't like the afts on Voyager and Freedom class ships. I'd rather have a beautiful ocean view than a superstructure and a larger balcony!

johneeo Posted February 22, 2012 #13 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Have to choose between JS 9572 (mid) or JS 7692 (extreme aft). Help me decide. Thanks. 9572. Great location, 2 decks up is the pool, WJ, Solarium, where you will be spending a lot of time, easy walk up and down, can avoid the elevators. johneeo Posted February 22, 2012 #14 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Got deck 9 JS mid ship. Thanks, everyone! Good choice. We had deck 9 (9284) midship. It was great, being at the pool, forgot a book, camera, whatever, just down 2 flights, really convenient.
