4spring Posted March 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Saw on another thread that Fascination was running late coming into port tomorrow. Where can we find out that info? Anyone have an idea? I checked the Jaxport website but it doesn't have a link for this.
jm100 Posted March 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2012 We just got off the Legend and we ran "late". We arrived in Tampa at 9am instead of 8am due to Day Light savings. Only issue we had all week.:)
4spring Posted March 12, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted March 12, 2012 Maybe that had something to do with the ship's getting behind. Hadn't thought of that. Joe- how was the weather traveling back? Were you coming back from Cozemal or Nassau?
BananaAnna Posted March 12, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2012 When we sailed on the Fascination the ship was late coming in because of the tide - it couldn't get under the bridge. We were notified via email which, fortunately, we receive on our BlackBerrys. We ate a leisurely lunch, went to a movie and finally boarded about 7pm I believe. Carnival MAY post the info on their website - I've never noticed either way.
4spring Posted March 12, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted March 12, 2012 When folks mention Carnival website - are they talking about the John Heald blog? I did find that. No info on there but like poster before me, I did get an email after I initially posted this thread. Thanks for the feedback.

BSQ Posted March 12, 2012 #7 Share Posted March 12, 2012 on twitter, @CCLSupport tweet delays and status updates when the ships are delayed. the tweet will also have a link to the Carnival website for more details. example on the CCL Website: search Update: http://www.carnival.com/Core/FAQ.aspx?faq=update I've had really good experiences with Carnival's Tweeps, so Twitter is my go to rather than their website which can be difficult to navigate. I was just going to post the same thing. The website is especially hard to navigate on a mobile phone browser.
