penthouse - champagne?

I just upgraded to a penthouse for our June 27 cruise and now I keep coming up with silly questions! Did I read somewhere that we will have champagne waiting in our cabin? [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif[/img] If so, would it be possible to request an Asti Spumante instead since neither DH nor I like champagne? Again, if so, when/where/through whom would we make this request?

I'm sure I'll come up with more 'important' [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img] questions before the 27th.

Depends on which ship you'll be on....but most likely yes. You will have a tray of appetizers, champagne, a fruit bowl and fresh flowers in your room when you arrive. If you have a butler, he's the one to ask to change it to Asti or wine. (I've never been told no when I've asked to do this.) If you don't have a butler, the concierge is the appropriate person to contact.

If it's NCL's champagne you should enjoy it -- it's almost as sweet as Asti.
