Concert Cruise

Last year Carnival offered a Cruise that featured three or four Rock Bands. Does anyone know if there will be one this year. I'd also like to hear any reviews of the last. Thanks!

From what I have heard the cruise we are going on is a concert cruise though Clear Channel Radio Station. The October 23, 2005 sailing of the Valor.

That cruise is sold out. WOW.

 

I'd been eyeballing that cruise from the moment this years itinerary was announced. Within 2 weeks of the announcement, it was sold out. That was last fall. The waiting list to get on is a mile long. Kind of bums me out because I love so many of those bands!

Oh well, I'll just have to wait for next year's cruise. They do one every year.

We were on that cruise. We had booked it before Clear Channel had. The price then trippled (not for us). Of course, the concerts were not included for us, but we met a couple who had received extra tickets and they gave them to us. It was a great time! Styx played the night we were in Cozumel. They arrived and left on that day. REO Speedwagon was on board the whole trip. It was cool seeing them around, on exursions, in the casino, and their rooms were just down the hall from us. The were great and very approacable. Journey got on in Jamaica and stayed till the end. They were getting ready to disembark around the time we were and we had a quick chat and photos were taken. I was even given an Altoids mint container from one of them. Anyway great time!

You could also check out Jamcruise.com - they always ocur in January - not sure which ship. Not really your mainstream acts, kind of like a floating Bonnaroo. I have lots of friends who went last year, said it was incredible!
