The cute bags and swag you got from your

travel agent

 

Passenger talent shows.. People used to bring

costumes and instruments!

 

My first cruise was on line named Regal out if

New York and it was an old ship with teak wood

floors and doors that you had to step over

the lip to use... There were inside rooms that

had a window that faced the open deck with

a little curtain.. Was really cool!

During Captains Welcome Party, Captain actually stayed and danced with us...what memories of that! (Carnival Carnivale)

 

Free soda with meals..

 

People dressed up for meals, and stayed dressed up for the rest of the night..

 

Evening shows were production numbers that put todays to shame, with costumes, props, incredible talent I remember one cruise (RCCL Majesty of Seas, inauguaral cruise) where they actually had remote control UFO's floating above the audience's head..cool
