We were just there on 3/29 and we had a lovely time. It was raining on and off, but our tour guide, Albert Aguirre (who was awesome) took us to the rainforest, around Old San Juan and it was lovely...even with the rain. Here are a couple of my favorite shots!

And the rain really got the water falls flowing in El Yunque rainforest. My daughter is wearing a hat Albert made out of leaves from one of the trees to keep the rain off her face:

Beautiful photos MDSue! I especially love the first one, I think dusk (in warm weather) is my favorite time of day. :)

Thanks, I took a bunch of pics on my last visit. I love the city!

Fantastic photos! I was too chicken to take a photo like the one below. I made the mistake of looking down!:o

My pleasure! San Juan really is beautiful. Looking at your photos of El Yunque....man, we really have to visit the rainforest! We haven't gone there yet. Next trip we'll have to make it happen. :)

Thank you Host Faith! We did love the Gran Melia...best part was the room was only $100 a night! And just a quick drive to El Yunque and Luquillo beach! We are so anxious to return in March 2013!
