Would you recommend rooms in the main building or across the street, why?

I've read someplace where 1 location has nicer rooms but can't remember which location it is. THANKS

I think it depends on what you can afford and what's available. I stayed in the lagoon side (across the street) on my last trip. We had a nice view of the lagoon and the area was quiet and nice. It was an easy walk across a walkway to the main building.

This year, in order to get the lowest price, we ended up booking a "city view" room which is in the main building. The view will be of other buildings, no water. I would much prefer a water view- but am on a budget. I will be there late tomorrow night, so if I have any computer access I'll post a comparison when I can. Of course, I'd love an ocean view, but that's not in my budget.

I really enjoyed my visit last time- lots of stuff to do on-site and close by
