KauaiKris Posted April 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2012 What should we expect if we are mid/aft ship (somewhere between cabins 1357 and 1425) oceanview on the Riviera deck on the Conquest Class ships? Are we going to hear much noise from below, either engines or crew? Much vibration in that area? Any cargo door issues we should be aware of? We first planned to be on the main deck, but would have to be in cabins above the far end of the galley (between 2415 and 2431) and apparently that's a bad place to be. Is there a difference in the type of window between Riviera and Main decks? Thanks!

Riveria is a nice quiet deck. Main deck-- you do NOT want to be under the galley. the windows are the same on every deck= as is the cabin. the higher you go the more you pay. I would go even cheaper then one of those above rooms and take 1429. no across the way neioghbor-- its a firedoor storage area. very close to stairs/elevators. if you want to be more midship- take an even number cabin- try to avoid that white area on the deck plans. On the odd side is where the room service station is located
