Getting your cruise credit.

My wife and I were on the Oosterdam last November when a medical emergency cut the cruise by one day. HAL gave each of us $219.75 as a future cruise credit, we have to book by this November

If you have a credit coming and are booking a cruise be sure and tell this to HAL or your agent and give them both Mariner numbers if traveling with another.

I booked myself and only entered my number. The credit was for $219.75, when I used both numbers it was $439.50.

I should have made this more clear. A passenger on the Oosterdam became ill enroute from Hawaii. The vessel turned around to get in range of a coast guard helicopter. That's what made the ship a day late leaving San Diego for Mexico and HAL gave each passenger a $219 credit.
