Table for 2

Does anyone know if you can see the Matrade right after getting on the ship and tell him/her you would like a table for 2 and get that table for 2 the first night?? Carnival Pride to be exact, sailing this sunday. Thank you in advance for your replies

We just got off the Pride this past Sunday. We went right away to check our table. It was a table for 6. We asked for a table for 2. They changed it and we had a table for 2 that first night no problem.

Yes you can. We've done it. I have heard of folks who were told they would have to wait until the second night.
