CRUISING71 Posted May 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2012 Hello, We have never sail with Princess. Just found out Princess will be be sailing out of SFO to Alaska. Luv this!!! Because we don't have to fly to Seattle or Vancouver to sail to Alaska. Where can I find more information on the Grand Princess like her size, her weight and what she has to offer? Thanks, Tibbie

Thanks, Tibbie FYI, Princess has been sailing to Alaska from San Francisco for some time. Sea Princess is currently sailing that itinerary and has been for a few years. Before that, Dawn Princess did that sailing. Grand Princess is the first of the Grand-class ships. At the time of her launch, she was the largest cruise ship in the world. She recently was completely refurbished and we're certainly looking forward to her sailing from San Francisco.
