Rain during a cruise?

We are sailing in almost a week and today we looked at the weather(yes its a bit far out) and saw that it is going to rain! We have never been on a cruise where it has rained and we are just wondering if its just as fun even though you can't do outdoor things and most likely it won't be as much fun at the port.

Nothing worse than rain on a cruise. The tempature is 90 degrees, and the rain getting your clothes wet, will make your completely miserable until it dries in the 90 degrees, 15 minutes later. Of course your hair will be ruined, but the plus side is that you can run your toes through the mud. Swimming would be a total hassle, because you will get wet before you jump in to get wet. Some good points also, is that the chair hogs won't stay outside, you can find a chair.

Rain does not change "fun", only altitude will change it.

We had rain in Roatan when we first docked. It was so beautiful. Lightening was flashing and it was pouring so hard it was hard to see much. It cleared quickely and we had a great day in port.

Nothing like a nice rain storm. Watch the pool deck as it gets really slippery.
