Yes they are salt water.

 

Not sure what you mean by bad. We found them to be fine

Yes, salt water. Makes it easier to float!

 

Advantage is they don't have to add so much chlorine.

Yes,its a sea water and its salty . why its bad?I think its perfect ,no smell of chlorine:eek:

Our children found the water on Costa very salty, not pleasant if you swallow it by mistake. I wondered how much it was filtered and how much it was just like the sea.
