Pronounce Junkanoo

This might sound silly but do you pronounce Junkanoo like it sounds?

I think this is where we are going to go in Freeport and I want to make sure and tell the cab driver the correct place.

You never know where you might end up if you don't say it right....LOL

I believe it is junk-a-new.

 

When we were in Barbados that is how they pronounced it.
