NoobCruise Posted May 31, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2012 Does the Westerdam serve cream soda, any brand? Would love to have some in our room to go with the Kahlua we ordered :) Should we stop and pick some up before we board?
sail7seas Posted May 31, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2012 I have never seen cream soda on a HAL ship. HAL uses Coke products. You should bring some with you.
josie724 Posted May 31, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2012 Cream soda is hard to find on land, I don't think you'll have much luck on board. I would bring some.
innlady1 Posted May 31, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2012 We, too, like Cream Soda (plain...no alcohol), and we've never seen it offered on HAL.

NoobCruise Posted June 1, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Thanks everyone! We'll be staying at the holiday Inn and taking a taxi to Pier 91. Is there a store close to the hotel or Pier 91 that we can quickly stop at before we board?

I've also been searching the net to see what I can bring from the lido for our kahlua lol while I've always enjoyed a Colorado Bulldog, adding kahlua to vanilla or chocolate ice cream sounds wonderful lol or some hazelnut coffee creamer (bring my own). yes, I do have a sweet tooth tonight lol

peaches from georgia Posted June 1, 2012 #15 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Queen Anne is only a short distance out of the way going from the Downtown Holiday Inn to Pier 91. There are grocery stores in that neighborhood a taxi could take you to.

monkeedee2 Posted June 1, 2012 #18 Share Posted June 1, 2012 How about root beer? I forget which company has what, so not sure coke has one or not.....
mort&fran Posted June 4, 2012 #19 Share Posted June 4, 2012 How about root beer? I forget which company has what, so not sure coke has one or not..... Coke's root beer brand is Barq's, but I prefer Pepsi's Mug brand (also A&W, Dad's and Hire's - and Doctor Brown's Cream Soda). I don't recall root beer being available on any of our cruises (but "memory's the second thing to go...")
Typhoon1 Posted June 5, 2012 #20 Share Posted June 5, 2012 If it's not a Coke product, you won't find it on HAL.
