Clarea Posted June 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2012 Navigator of the seas, can/will they open the balcony doors between staterooms? Navigator is a second generation Voyager class ship, so therefore the balcony dividers can be opened. However, ship management may or may not allow the dividers to be opened. DonnaK Posted June 24, 2012 #7 Share Posted June 24, 2012 Nope...the dividers do not open on this ship. Wrong information. The balcony dividers DO open on Navigator and Mariner. They swing open and get attached to the balcony handrail. However, "for safety reasons", on these two ships, the captain and ship's personnel usually deny any request to have the partitions opened. (It is different on other ships, such as Allure/Oasis and Freedom class, where half of the divider slides open into the other half. This is safer and more secure, so it is usually permitted)
