Bibble Posted July 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2012 Does anyone know how many bars are at Arawak Cay? Wondering if we could spend a few hours there doing a mini pub-crawl? Thanks!
kjdcruising Posted July 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2012 I would guesstimate about 10 or so.

Although a few have real "bars".. quite a few have just a service bar. There's about 14 in all... and a couple of Daq Shaks.

Bibble Posted July 5, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted July 5, 2012 ScubaGirl, could you answer another question? If I recall correctly, Junkanoo beach is free. I google mapped it, and I see that it is on the way to Arawak Cay, across from the Quality Inn. It looks like there is then a second beach before getting to Arawak. Is that second one still Junkanoo, or is that a different one? Is it still free? Thank you for your help!

Junkanoo Beach across the street from the Quality Inn and is free.. the beach next to it is just an extention of the same. Some call it Arawak Beach, western esplanade, immigration beach etc.. don't know it's official name.. these things change all the time to keep them "tourist" friendly. The Beach is public and Free.. all the way down to the Fish Fry.
