Lemonade

I can't believe I've never tried it on the ship! Does it taste like "real" lemonade or more like Country Time lemonade (similar to Koolaid?)

Tastes nothing like lemonade made from our lemons.

 

For a more lemon taste I put lemons into water. The stuff onboard is too sweet and watered down for me.

It's really good with some liquor or wine in it.

I think it tastes close to real like from a carton, not like from a powder. They have lemons next to it if you want more lemon flavor.

They refill the machines with Lemonade from a carton.

Nope, its not SF, though RCL does have SF flavored water sweetened with splenda.

 

Its sweetened with sugar, sorry to say.

On the Ecstasy in April I had to do a 50/50 mix with the lemonade and water -- it was WAY to tart for me-- not watery at all.

Yeah. that's exactly what we did too, when we didn't want water, and didn't want to buy soft drinks. Worked out pretty well. but then again, we drink mad AP at home in the summer, it's kind of our "goto" drink.

Wish they had larger glasses on lido though as it takes too long to make 4 small glasses.

That's what we found this week on the Glory. I don't remember it being that tart in the past, so they may have changed it recently.

New OJ? Thought the old stuff was bad. For some reason pineapple juice though is rather good.

I like it plain on ice and with iced tea mixed in. I also enjoy the orange/guava juice in the morning on lido. I try to get some on ice before the replace it with tea and lemonade.

I love the Lemonade onboard. It is quite tart. I like it because it has pulp in it....you dont find that too often

We all liked the lemonade on our cruise back in Oct 2011 on the Valor. Was quite tart and cold. Oldest DS liked mixing it with tea and DH always filled up my mug at night with ice and lemonade before going back to room for bed.
