Upgraded!!!!!

We are so totally upgraded! NOT UPSOLD!

 

I have been keeping an eye on the prices and saw a price drop and other, better decks, become available. So, I called Carnival and they informed me that those rates didn't apply within the sailing window of six days, and decks were only for inside cabins. I told them I understood about the price, but that we WERE an inside cabin and the agent informed us that 24 hours ago, our room had been changed from an inside cabin to a deluxe ocean view stateroom! One of the big ones with a seating area, tub and everything! WOOOOHOOOOOO!

I was so shocked. I had heard of an upsell fairy.....but thought upgrades were a thing of the past. And the few upgrades I have heard people getting were maybe a better deck, or location. I have never heard of an inside cabin on the Riviera deck being upgraded that much.
