reginaphalange Posted August 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2012 I've recently realized that I may have selected a less than desirable cabin location for our November sailing. There are still cabins in our category open. As we booked the ES rate, would there be any penalty for a lateral move? Would we have to pay the new rate? Would we forfeit potential future price drops? Anything else I'm missing?
disneyaholicraquel Posted August 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2012 I just did a move and there was no penalty...
Swayde Posted August 23, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2012 I switched cabins on both of my booked cruises, both booked ES rate and didn't get charged a thing. As long as the cabin is available that you want and it is the same category it will be fine.
reginaphalange Posted August 23, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted August 23, 2012 Thank you both. I was able to move our cabin without any problems.

LHP Posted August 23, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 23, 2012 I did the same thing when my in-laws booked ES and had their cabin FORWARD when it should have been AFT to be closer to us.... We had to stay within the same classification....but we were able to move their location.
