Though not the most convenient routing, Emirates via Dubai in First Class would probably fit your bill. Top quality and reliable. You could get your own private suite.

Oh....you mean that price is a consideration. Silly me.

Pick almost any airline and you will find cheerleaders and detractors.

I would suggest that you not use Grace L Ferguson, except for their booking website.....:D

Any advice on best quality, most reliable airline from us to Barcelona?

All airlines will have flights that sometimes go off without a hitch, and all airlines will have flights that get delayed by weather, cancelled for mechanical issues, and it's impossible to predict what may or may not be an issue on your particular flight date. As far as quality, if you're flying coach, you won't see huge differences from one airline to the next. Seat width and legroom will be roughly the same, the so-so food will be roughly the same, and so on. Depending on where you originate from, I'd make flight schedules more of a priority.

They really are basically all the same. Many of the European carriers will be slightly better, but that's not always the case. I would look for the flights that fit your schedule and wallet the best. Just keep some basic things in mind such as "try to avoid Chicago or NYC in January" and those types of things, but even those are not guarantees for good or bad experiences.

You'd probably be better off on SQ/Singapore, who have service to SIN/GRU from BCN. While lots of people like EK, from everything I've read SQ is just that much better

USA to BCN via SIN is a hell of a mileage run.....

Of course, I really hope the OP doesn't come back with more detailed info. This is much too much fun playing hypothetical "flights on someone else's money".
